Evergen

Evergen offers a comprehensive portfolio of biomaterials, empowering our OEM partners to create solutions that are precisely tailored to clinical needs. Our available biomaterials include:

  • Allograft Soft Tissue
  • Allograft Musculoskeletal
  • Xenograft Soft Tissue
  • Xenograft Bone

Surgeons select allograft and xenograft biomaterials for their proven ability to enhance the body's natural healing process across a wide range of clinical applications and procedures.

Allograft Biomaterials

Evergen
An allograft implant is tissue surgically transplanted from one individual to another. Depending on the type of transplant, surgical application, and processing method, it has the potential to remodel and support new tissue growth. Allograft implants eliminate the need for a second surgery site to harvest the patient’s own tissue (autograft) for transplantation to the primary surgery site. Processing methods are tailored to meet the specific clinical application, optimizing requirements such as strength and biochemical properties

Allograft Soft Tissue

Allograft Dermis

Evergen’s acellular human dermis graft is sterilized using the Tutoplast® Tissue Sterilization Process.

Evergen’s acellular human dermis graft is sterilized using the Tutoplast® Tissue Sterilization Process. This proprietary process retains the three dimensional intertwined multidirectional fibers and mechanical properties of the native tissue. The graft provides a natural scaffold to support the body’s regenerative processes.

Allograft Pericardium and Allograft Fascia Lata

Evergen’s human pericardium and fascia lata are sterilized using the Tutoplast® Tissue Sterilization Process.

For those looking for an optimized path to market, these implants are available as white-label or with customer-branded packaging to provide a long-term outsourced solution, or a temporary short-term option while we partner on something new and novel.

Allograft Musculoskeletal Tissue

Tendons

Tendons are sterilized through the BioCleanse® Tissue Sterilization Process without the use of irradiation.

Tendons are sterilized through the BioCleanse® Tissue Sterilization Process without the use of irradiation. Options include non-bone tendons, Achilles tendons, BTB tendons, and the RapidEase® Pre-Sutured Tendon designed to minimize graft preparation time and eliminate the potential complications associated with donor site autograft recovery. The tendon construct, available in single and quadruple strand configurations, is indicated for use in Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) reconstruction procedures.

Allograft Demineralized Bone Grafts

Demonstrated osteoinductive* (OI) potential and is available with or without the addition of cortical-cancellous chips for an osteoconductive scaffold.

Demonstrated osteoinductive* (OI) potential and is available with or without the addition of cortical-cancellous chips for an osteoconductive scaffold. DBM not only provides the natural scaffold for bone ingrowth, but also provides osteoinductive potential. DBM is offered in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.

Allograft Fibers

Fibers are non-uniform and interlock, creating a moldable graft for easy handling and conformable placement in a bony defect.

Conventional and Structural Allografts

These grafts are available as whole bone or pre-cut to select sizes to reduce OR prep time.

These grafts are available as whole bone or pre-cut to select sizes to reduce OR prep time. After being processed through Evergen's BioCleanse® Tissue Sterilization Process, they are terminally sterilized in their final packaging to achieve a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6.

Allograft Meniscus

Evergen offers the only meniscal allograft with both bone and meniscus sterilized through the BioCleanse® Tissue Sterilization Process.

Fresh-Stored Osteochondral Allografts

Evergen’s fresh-stored osteochondral (OC) allografts enable surgeons to resurface osteochondral defects with mature hyaline cartilage and repair subchondral bone in a single procedure.

Evergen’s fresh-stored osteochondral (OC) allografts enable surgeons to resurface osteochondral defects with mature hyaline cartilage and repair subchondral bone in a single procedure. Fresh grafts are cleansed, processed, and preserved to maintain chondrocyte viability.

Xenograft Biomaterials

Evergen
A xenograft biomaterial is tissue transplanted from one species to another, typically from animals to humans. These biomaterials are carefully processed to ensure they are safe and effective for medical use, helping the body heal naturally. Evergen’s proprietary xenograft processing methods are adapted for specific clinical applications to optimize application-specific requirements, such as strength and biochemical specifications.
