Material Technologies

Evergen

Evergen offers an extensive portfolio of biomaterials enabling our OEM partners to develop solutions tailored to clinical needs.

Available biomaterials include: Allograft Soft Tissue, Allograft Musculoskeletal, Xenograft Soft Tissue, and Xenograft Bone.

Surgeons choose allograft and xenograft biomaterials for their ability to support the body’s natural healing process across various clinical applications and procedures.

Allograft Biomaterials

Evergen
An allograft implant is tissue surgically transplanted from one person to another. Depending on the type of transplant, surgical application, and processing method, it has the potential to remodel and support new tissue growth. Allograft implants eliminate the need for a second surgery site to obtain the patient's own tissue (autograft) for transplantation to the primary surgery site.
Processing methods are adapted for specific clinical applications to optimize application-specific requirements, such as strength and biochemical specifications.

Allograft Soft Tissue

Allograft Dermis

Evergen’s acellular human dermis graft is sterilized using the Tutoplast® Tissue Sterilization Process.

Allograft Pericardium and Allograft Fascia Lata

For those looking for an optimized path to market, these implants are available as white-label or with customer-branded packaging to provide a long-term outsourced solution, or a temporary short-term option while we partner on something new and novel.

Allograft Musculoskeletal Tissue

Tendons

Tendons are sterilized through the BioCleanse® Tissue Sterilization Process without the use of irradiation.

Allograft Demineralized Bone Grafts

Demonstrated osteoinductive* (OI) potential and is available with or without the addition of cortical-cancellous chips for an osteoconductive scaffold.

Allograft Fibers

Fibers are non-uniform and interlock, creating a moldable graft for easy handling and conformable placement in a bony defect.

Conventional and Structural Allografts

These grafts are available as whole bone or pre-cut to select sizes to reduce OR prep time.

Allograft Meniscus

Evergen offers the only meniscal allograft with both bone and meniscus sterilized through the BioCleanse® Tissue Sterilization Process.

Fresh-Stored Osteochondral Allografts

Evergen’s fresh-stored osteochondral (OC) allografts enable surgeons to resurface osteochondral defects with mature hyaline cartilage and repair subchondral bone in a single procedure.

Xenograft Biomaterials

Evergen
A xenograft implant is a tissue derived from one species to be implanted in another. Xenografts can be precision-shaped and implanted like an allograft. Depending on the type of xenograft, surgical application, and processing method, studies show that it has the potential to remodel into the patient’s body like an allograft implant.
Evergen’s proprietary xenograft processing methods are adapted for specific clinical applications to optimize application-specific requirements, such as strength and biochemical specifications.
